Funniest race moment: I have two; the first one I finished a race about mid pack and there was a line of riders through the finish chute. Riders were starting to line up behind me also. A friend of mine came over to give me what for and yelled at everyone behind me, "You just got beat by a girl"! It was funny. The other time I raced the Jackrabbits race in the rain and I got stuck in the mud so it took me a long time to get to the finish. Someone finally helped me get unstuck and I did finish. When I got to the finish line, the guy at the finish said my dad was waiting for me. I was shocked to think my dad drove all the way out to Red Mt. in the pouring rain to see me finish. Turns out it wasn't my dad...it was my husband!!! LOL!!!
What you like about the Club: I love that we are all a family and look out for each other no matter what.
Racing Accomplishments: I have a few trophies and made it to Eternal Amateur :) I have also been #10 in our club points, finished 8th in points the inaugural year of the Big 6 GP but my biggest accomplishments have come through being Club secretary and newsletter editor and doing the same for the District for 4 years. Presently I am honored to be the spokesperson for Riders Helping Riders.
Your ultimate goal in racing: Getting my red bar.
